Make-up Rooms
The Pie Factory hosts two separate make-up rooms, each contatining four dressing chairs, a backwash and a standard set-up designed and specified by make-up artist Clare Golds whose credits include Smalltime, I’m With Stupid, Early Doors and The Forsythe Saga.

Wardrobe
The Pie Factory hosts a wardrobe area with facilities as standard (washing machine, dryer, drip tray, textiles table and ample space for costume rails and costume storage). This area was built to specification by costume designer Lynne Gibson whose credits include The Royal Family, I’m With Stupid, Early Doors and Smalltime.

Green Room
The green room area is an ideal location for actors to relax before, during or after filming. The room can also be used to accommodate meetings and read-throughs. The room contains four black-leather softas, two meeting tables with six matching white-leather chairs, a pool table and a planned plasma television.

Canteen area
We currently have an unoccupied canteen area which has been used as a holding area for extras for the BBC sitcom Smalltime and also for a scene from the second series of Hatrick’s Drop Dead Gorgeous.

We are currently in the planning stages of redesigning and modernising the canteen area, allowing for a “soft area”, a seated area and a coffee shop.

Props/Construction Workshops
Granada, Hatrick and Cuba Pictures have all utilized space to create work-shops and prop stores. There is ample room at the Pie Factory to host workshops and prop stores for productions which choose to film at The Pie Factory or on location.

Parking
There are 250 on-site parking spaces.

Security
The site is covered by 24/7 security.
