The Pie Factory provides on-site parking, facilities for prop stores and construction workshops as well as dressing rooms, make-up rooms and a green room. The site has 24/7 security allowing access to the facilities any time day or night.

We have fully serviced production offices available with flexible and permanent leases.

The production offices are linked to an adjacent building which house our soundstages, all of which are linked by what we light-heartedly refer to as our M62 corridor.

Ingredients : stages

A view of the Manchester Studio at The Pie Factory

Manchester Studio

First along the M62 corridor is our Manchester studio. Comprising 6,800 sq feet of workable space. This stage is ventilated, sound-proofed and equipped with 400 watt, three-phase power. Manchester is directly accesable from a HGV loading bay for convenient loading/unloading of equipment.

This sound-stage has hosted the BBC3 sitcom The Visit and has been used for several scenes from a forthcoming Channel 4 drama for Cuba Pictures.

A view of the Salford Studio at The Pie Factory

Salford Studio

Second along the M62 is our Salford sound-stage. Comprising 3,000 sq feet of workable space, this stage is currently in development to match the spec of our Manchester and Leeds stages. Already, however, it has been utlized as a stage for scenes from Granada’s drama series Cold Blood. As with the Manchester stage, the Salford stage currently offers 400 watt, three-phase power and is directly accessible from a HGV loading bay for convenient loading/unloading of equipment.

In addition, there is space outside the Salford stage which would allow for the occupation of a scanner to offer a complete broadcast solution.

Drop Dead Gorgeous - BBC Three

Leeds Studio

At the tail end of the M62 corridor is our Leeds studio. Comprising 5,500 sq feet of workable space, the stage is ventilated, sound-proofed and offers 400 watt three phase power. HGV Access to the rear of the Pie Factory allows for easy loading and unloading of equipment. This stage is also home to our 19 meter infinity cove.

This soundstage has hosted scenes from Hatrick’s second series of Drop Dead Gorgeous and soon to be used for a series of commercials.
