Drop Dead GorgeousDrop Dead Gorgeous is a comedy drama for BBC Three. Set in Runcorn, it tells the story of 15 year old geeky "goddess" Ashley Webb (played by Sinead Moynihan), whose life is turned upside-down when she is approached by a spotter from a local modelling agency. Events move at lightning speed and the whole family, including sister Jade (played by Linzey Cocker), are affected.
The VisitHMP Radford is a category C prison where the inmates are reunited with their loved ones once a week in the visiting room. Frustrations, petty arguments, and roguish scams are all played out under the not-so-watchful eye of the bored prison officers.
Michael (played by Ian McKee) unceasingly pleads his innocence and yearns for his appeal to be considered; his Dad (played by John Henshaw) rues the invention of the speedbump while his Nana (played by Beatrice Kelley) is determined to fill his cell with crucifixes; Bev (Naomi Radcliffe) bemoans Clint’s idiocy (Steve Edge); and meanwhile the prison offices are never truly certain that Pete really is blind…
