01 Pies to production

January 2006 saw the last Freshbake pies leave the building but the spaces still retain much of the character and personality. Though now fully renovated, the sound stages still carry the names of the main production areas from the factory's former life and each remain linked by the 'M62 corridor', as it was originally titled.

The Pie Factory has many claims to fame having been the home for a host of TV dramas, commercials and photo shoots.

Because of its location on the MediaCityUK site The Pie Factory has already become a creative hub for a wide range of 'on-the-lot' companies from casting to lighting, design to new media.
